This sunny corner cafe is the perfect spot to catch up with friends, sit and get some work done, or grab delicious pastries and coffee to-go. There are usually meter spots nearby on 31st St which makes it my go-to spot before I hit the highway in my car. The staff is always so friendly and there is always good chill ... music playing which adds to the vibe. I also like that there are lots of regulars who engage in friendly banter with the staff which also makes it feel like a cozy neighborhood locale. Absolutely decadent croissant filled with Valrhona pistachio praliné cream filling. There is a large offer of homemade pastries, as well as savory sandwiches. Coffee is great too! The space is spacious and cosy, with many tables to sit down. The staff is very welcoming too.

It seems to be busy all the time since this cafe is located at the corner of the street. I had dicaf flat white with oat milk and it was nice! My daughter had americano and cinnamon roll, she said it was good as well. Over all it was pretty nice cafe and I’d go back when I visit Astoria again!

This place is super cute, with a really creative and modern menu. The coffee is absolutely top-tier—especially the freddo cappuccino, which reminded me of the cold foam drinks I used to make back when I worked as a Starbucks manager. Honestly, they make it even better here. I was told it’s a Greek-style drink, which I ... had no idea about, but I loved it. Most of the crowd seemed to be Mediterranean, and honestly, I get it—the coffee quality is excellent and the prices are fair. However, the downside is how crowded it gets. They have very limited staff, which means there’s no one available to clean the tables regularly. People come and go for coffee, but often leave their mess behind, and as a customer, you end up having to grab napkins and clean the table yourself. It also turns into a bit of a game trying to “hunt down” a clean spot to sit. This was my first time visiting, after my best friend recommended it, and we went together. I didn’t get a chance to try their pastries (which looked delicious) because I was waiting for lunch—but I definitely plan to return at a less busy hour to enjoy things at a more relaxed pace. Their furniture is new and the overall space is clean. The bathroom is fine, and the facilities are solid. They just really need more staff. They’re clearly very busy all the time, and it shows in how hard it is for them to keep up with customer support and maintenance outside of the bar.
